This year we have 13 students enrolled. Like many rural communities, school enrolments have declined as the traditional agricultural base has changed.

Mrs W has been appointed as principal at Dhurringile PS and Mrs P is on leave without pay for two years.

Mrs Answer now teaches full time at Harston.

February was a sad month as our Business Manager Mrs Carmel Stanyer passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Rita Portea stepped in to “give us a hand” and is now assuming the role of Business Manager.

Harston was established in 1874 and continues to provide a great educational environment. Our smaller numbers means even greater access to teaching and learning opportunities.

We have exceptional technology resources and our LEGO Room is fabulous.

Once again we charge no fees.

Our focus is creativity and fun for all.

In term three we have or School Review.

we look forward to another successful year. Harston PS is 145 years young this year.
